Ministry & Sanctuary

TAGA Ranch operates as a family-operated sanctuary under our faith-based ministry. While our work with animals spans more than 16 years, our ministry designation formally recognizes values that have guided our program from the beginning — stewardship, responsibility, compassion, and lifelong care for the animals entrusted to us.

Our ranch serves as both a place of animal stewardship and a space of prayer, reflection, and service. We believe animals are gifts entrusted to human care, and our responsibility is to raise them with integrity, respect, and intentional purpose.

The transition to ministry status did not change how we raise our dogs; rather, it clarified the spiritual foundation behind the work we have always done. Our Australian Shepherd program continues to emphasize health testing, early development, ethical breeding practices, and long-term support for every family who welcomes a TAGA Ranch companion.

Because TAGA Ranch operates as a sanctuary ministry, families participate through ministry support donations rather than commercial sales. These donations help sustain:

• daily animal care and enrichment
• health testing and veterinary support
• early developmental programs
• holistic wellness practices
• sanctuary operations and stewardship

Each placement is approached thoughtfully and prayerfully, with the intention of matching the right animal with the right home.
